Genital warts removal is not uncommon amongst people who find that they have contracted genital warts. For these people there are many methods available of genital warts removal.
Treatment options for genital warts removal will vary, as well as other things such as the time needed for treatment. The times needed for treatment will depend to a very great extent on the type of treatment a person will decide to get.
The many different treatment options for genital warts removal includes surgical removal of the warts, prescription medications and creams, as well as other natural genital warts removal methods.
Natural genital warts removal methods includes such things as the use of herbs and herbal teas, the use of tinctures, Acupuncture, Ayurveda, and Aromatherapy among other things
Of course some of these natural genital warts removal methods go to the root of the matter and try to first get your body back into a good balance. These methods of genital warts removal can take longer than that of surgical removal or even the application of prescription medications or herbal remedies, to cure.
However, as they tend to work from the inside out, you will find that your overall health is also improved and in some cases, if you can keep up with the healthy lifestyle you will find that your chances of getting recurring genital warts is also greatly diminished.
Of course this requires great dedication on your part and for this reason alone some people prefer to use medical methods such as surgical excision to aid in their genital warts removal.
These methods for genital warts removal are all quite simple and also widely practiced. The only problem with this being that sometimes these methods of genital warts removal will leave scarring and in some cases disfigurement.
To help you better understand the ins and outs of these methods and their drawbacks – for instance even if you successfully go through with these methods of genital warts removal you might find that your warts come back, which might necessitate undergoing another session of genital warts removal.
You doctor or physician can then better help you to make an informed decision about the different options of genital warts removal treatments which are open to you. As mentioned earlier these include not only the surgical aspects of genital warts removal but also those of medications and creams.
These are also viable genital warts removal methods which many people will consider over and above those of naturopathic treatment methods. Genital warts removal can be accomplished by any of these methods, it just depends on which treatment method you prefer.

What do Genital warts Look Like then
If you’ve never before had or never before even heard about genital warts, then you won’t know what genital warts look like. This could of course, all be for the good. If they aren’t on you, and sometimes even when they are, genital warts can be a frightening sight to those of faint stomachs.
In other words, they’re not a pretty sight to behold, but they are unfortunately a fact of life, especially in this day and age when sexually transmitted diseases are becoming more and more common.
If this is your worry and you’re afraid that you might have genital warts but are too embarrassed to see your doctor, you might first want to find out what genital warts look like.
In appearance genital warts can differ one from the other, and just because you see a picture of genital warts it doesn’t mean that your genital warts look like the ones in the image you saw.
For instance, in some cases genital warts look like nothing more than a raised bump or a very irritable rash. In other cases however, genital warts look like cauliflower shaped growths.
They can also look like small raised growths, or they can also be flat in appearance. Genital warts can also sometimes have an appearance of being red and angry.
If you want to have a better idea and want to know what genital warts look like, you can of course look through medical textbooks containing information about genital warts, or you can look for pictures of genital warts over the internet.
You will be able to find many a website which will grant you access to pictures of genital warts so that you can see for yourself what genital warts look like. Be warned though, that not everyone can stand what are most of the time, very candid and graphic pictures.
For these squeamish people it would be best if you remained ignorant of what genital warts look like. You might want to read the information gathered on these sites, but if the thought of anything to do with your bodily functions leaves you nauseous, you should avoid these completely.
Ignorance really is best in this case and if you believe you might be suffering from genital warts and want to know what genital warts look like you might be better off gathering the courage to go see your doctor instead, to confirm or deny that you have genital warts.
Sometimes the direct approach is the best, and this way you will also be assured of getting the necessary treatment. And if you really want to see what genital warts look like, you can always go back to any of these sites.

Genital warts information
Genital warts information can be found in many places and in many guises if only you look hard enough. One of the best places for you to get genital warts information though will be from your doctor’s office. This worthy place will be able to give you the genital warts information, or point you in the right direction for you to start gathering the necessary information.
If however, you would rather start gathering as much genital warts information as you can by yourself, there are a few resources which are available for you to look into without the aid or advice of your doctor.
One such popular method is the internet. If you’re looking for something like genital warts information chances are that you will be able to find some article or other about it on the internet. To that extent this is a very valuable resource that you have at your fingertips and something which will yield result after result if wielded properly.
If you’re the squeamish type and would rather not view any pictures pertaining to genital warts watch out, as although some sites mention this fact somewhere where you will notice it before the pictures come into view, you might still miss this warning and be subjected to what amounts to very graphic pictures.
Another great place to get genital warts information is from the various agencies (governmental and otherwise), which deal with these things. The CDC, or the Center for Disease Control, is one of these places, as is the American Cancer Society (ACS), and also the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
These institutes will all have genital warts information for the person who is interested. And all you need to do is to contact these agencies to get the ball rolling to receive this information.
Alternatively you could go to the various different websites for these and other such agencies where you will be able to gather more genital warts information. You will also find once you are in these sites that there are more resources listed from where you can find more genital warts information.
In some cases there will even be a direct link to these other resources making it easier for you gather what genital warts information you can. If this doesn’t appeal to you, and you prefer the old fashioned method of gathering information, you also have the option of writing or contacting these agencies for more genital warts information.
Of course, you could always just try out a medical journal or textbook first. You will be simply amazed at the amount of genital warts information you will be able to find contained within these pages.

Genital Warts HPV Cure
If you have a genital HPV infection and you’re looking for an HPV cure then you might be in for some disappointment as there is no HPV cure as such. There are treatments, and now there is even a vaccine available, but there are no cures. If on the other hand you’re looking for a genital warts cure you will be in luck.
There are more than enough genital warts cure methods around, you just need to look. For the most part though you won’t need to look very far as there are a choice number of genital warts cure methods available in the medicinal field.
These include such things as topical creams, solutions, and among other things surgical procedures. You will be hard pressed to find an over the counter genital warts cure as most of the ones already on the market for the removal of warts are not suitable in the case of genital warts.
These will all, and without exception, be too strong to use on the sensitive genital area. And if they are used there is a good chance that you will feel more discomfort than what you started out with.
Most of the medicinal creams and solutions which can be used to get rid of genital warts are prescription medications and will, in some cases, need to be applied to the affected area by trained medical personnel.
Other genital warts cure methods which you can utilize involve the use of surgical methods such as excision. In this particular genital warts cure the warts are removed by performing a minor surgery on the affected area.
Another such genital warts cure is called LEEP which stands for Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure, and involves using an instrument with one end shaped like a loop. The loop is passed underneath the wart and cuts it out of the skin. After which the physician uses something like a ball electrode to cauterize the skin.
Cryotherapy is another genital warts cure which many people utilize and involves using either liquid nitrogen of carbon dioxide on the affected area. This is applied for only a few seconds, long enough to freeze the warts, after which the warts will then be removed.
The above mentioned cryosurgery is also one of the few methods where scarring is not the norm. In other surgical based genital warts cure methods scarring and in some cases disfigurement of the affected area is a given, but not so with the cryotherapy method of genital warts cure.
As you can see you have many options open to you to find a genital warts cure which will suit you. You might not be able to cure the HPV but you can take care of those unsightly and potentially cancer forming genital HPV wart.

Creams To Cure Genital Warts
There are many methods of treatment used in the fight against HPV (or genital warts as it also more commonly known). And these can range from naturopathic treatments to holistic treatments to surgical treatments. These however, aren’t the only treatment methods which are available to remove visible signs of HPV. For those who desire it, there are also various genital warts cream treatments available as well.
Of course not everyone will decide to go this route and quite a few people these days will try their hand at using naturopathic treatments. This might sound odd to some people, especially if HPV treatments come in the form of genital warts cream treatments.
Naturally enough there is a reason for this seemingly odd behavior on the part of people who are normally perceived to be rational, and that is the fact that, most of these genital warts cream medications have many side effects associated with them.
For a populace which is inundated with medication after medication which has sometimes has more side effects than benefits, this can sometimes be the turning point in their decision whether to go with a genital warts cream or whether to go with a different treatment.
What most people are wary of is the many associated side effects and how this will ultimately affect their lives. Admittedly a reasonable number of people will also throw this caution to the winds and for these people there is a choice of different genital warts cream treatments they can choose from.
These include such topical ointments as Imiquimod, Fluorouracil, and Polyphenon. Genital warts cream treatments can also include such things called Interferons. These are antiviral drugs which can either be injected directly into the genital warts, or used as a genital warts cream.
For the most part though most of these genital warts cream treatments should not be used if a woman is pregnant, as the ingredients contained within the genital warts cream treatments can be very harmful to the unborn fetus.
Another reason why people won’t use genital wart cream treatments is due to the fact that for the most part none of these creams are available outside of prescription by a doctor. That means that they can’t be bought over-the-counter at your local pharmacy.
Then there is also the factor that most of these genital warts cream treatments need to be applied – at least in the beginning stages for some of the treatments – by trained medical staff. Here again, the reason for this lies in the potency of the particular ingredients which are found in the genital warts cream treatments.
For quite a few people these reasons – side effects, the ready unavailability of these creams, particularly strong ingredients and the fact they need to be administered by trained medical personnel – are very good ones to stay away from genital warts cream treatments altogether.

If You Have HPV
If you have HPV then there’s a good chance that you could go on to display genital wart signs. Although it’s true that a few people won’t display genital wart signs and symptoms, most people will.
There’s also a chance that genital wart signs will only manifest itself in hard to see places like the, vagina or the cervix. This means that even if a person is suffering from genital HPV they might not realize it.
And for the most part people will use over the counter medications to cure themselves using self diagnosis and thinking their genital warts to be something else entirely. As might be guessed this is not a good thing.
What becomes worse is if you believe yourself to have genital wart symptoms and still try to cure yourself using some of the many over the counter cures which are used for other wart problems. These are much too strong to use in the treatment of genital wart problems.
In most instances you will cause yourself more harm than good in trying to treat yourself without first getting a proper medical diagnosis. There’s also the risk factor with genital wart problems such as scarring resulting from the warts themselves or from the treatment.
Scarring isn’t a hundred percent guarantee when you get genital wart symptoms, but you should be aware of the probability of it. Another factor which you will encounter if you have genital wart signs is that of recurrence.
Since the HPV viral infection which causes the appearance of genital warts is not in itself curable, genital warts once removed, can make a re-appearance. This is in part due to the fact that the HPV virus itself doesn’t leave your body until your immune system fights it off.
There is no medication to help your immune system do this, so unless you live a very healthy lifestyle, and sometimes not even if then, it can take up two or so years for that particular strain of the virus to be eradicated from your body.
This also means that if you contract another, different strain of the HPV infection that you may display genital wart symptoms all over again.
Due to this reason – the fact that you can become infected with an entirely different strain of HPV altogether – it becomes difficult to say whether you have a new infection or whether your body is still fighting off the old infection.
This is also a good reason to practice a change in lifestyle, one which is conducive to maintaining optimum health and one where your natural immune system can fight off genital wart type of invaders without too much of a problem.

Herpes
There are many things which are considered to be taboo subjects to discuss openly in public. One such topic is that of genital herpes. The fact is that most people will go to extraordinary lengths to avoid these subjects but in some cases this can be detrimental to the health of the person.
The person who suffers from genital herpes though will sometimes find their lives turned upside down and unable to cope with the situation. It need not be this way, but unfortunately sometimes the emotional impact genital herpes can have on a person can be greater than the actual medical condition itself.
This is not to say that genital herpes isn’t serious or a potentially serious condition, only that some people will find they need more help to cope with the emotional trauma of having contracted a sexually transmitted disease than others will.
For these people care needs to be given not only to treat the physical condition but also the mental and emotional health of the person.
This can come about as the result of many things such as being rejected by their partner for having a sexually transmitted disease, being unable to cope with the reality of genital herpes, or being unable to deal with any residual scarring of the genital area.
Although for the most part genital herpes blisters will cure themselves, there may sometimes be scarring as a result of the blisters. This can be due to the severity and the spread of the blisters themselves.
To help with the pain which may be felt with genital herpes blisters you might want to try bathing the affected area in a salt solution comprising of half a teaspoon of salt mixed with half a pint of warm water. This will not only soothe the affected area but it also has the added benefits of drying out the sores.
You might also want to avoid such things as tanning beds and sunbathing. Avoid wearing tight fitting clothing which won’t allow your genital area to breathe.
If you find that urinating is painful due to the urine passing over the sores, you can either pour water over yourself as you urinate, or you can try to urinate within a bath of water.
What you really need to do though when you have genital herpes is get plenty of rest. You body needs it and now is as a good a time as any to start listening to it.
